My Real Estate Business Coach is operated by Shannon Foster-Boline, a sole proprietor in Tennessee ("we," "us"). We are the data controller for the personal information described here. Questions: shannon@fosterbolinegroup.com or 865-617-8287.
Age
My Real Estate Business Coach is intended for users age 18 and older. We do not knowingly market the product to, or collect information from, anyone under 18.
What we collect
- Account and authentication information — your name, email address and sign-in details.
- Business planning data you enter — income goals, assumptions, deals, sale prices, commissions, sources of business, activity preferences and weekly plans.
- Coach conversations — the questions you ask and the replies you receive.
- Product usage — pages viewed and key actions taken, so we can understand what is useful.
- Support and feedback messages you send us.
Why we use it
- To provide the service and keep your plan, pipeline and coaching available (contract).
- To secure accounts and prevent fraud or abuse (legitimate interests).
- To improve the product and fix problems (legitimate interests).
- To send marketing email where you have opted in (consent — withdraw any time).
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations (legal obligation).
AI processing
When you use Coach or Ask Coach, relevant structured business context — a summary of your plan, pipeline, sources and activity preferences — may be sent to our AI model provider so it can generate a reply. Financial and business figures are calculated by our own deterministic software; the AI interprets those figures rather than computing them. Please do not enter client names, contact details or confidential third-party transaction information: Real Estate Coach is not a CRM or transaction-management system and is not designed to hold them.
Who we share it with
- Hosting and database providers who run the service on our behalf.
- Our AI model provider, for the Coach features described above.
- Paddle, our Merchant of Record, for payments, subscription management, tax compliance and invoicing.
- Loops (and previously Flodesk), our email marketing providers, if you opt in to marketing email.
- Professional advisers, and authorities where the law requires it.
We do not sell your personal information.
Connected calendars
If you choose to connect Google Calendar, My Real Estate Business Coach may access the calendar information necessary to help schedule business-building activities, including calendar availability and events created or managed by the app. Connecting a calendar is entirely optional.
We use this access to:
- identify available time when you ask for scheduling help;
- create business-building activities you approve;
- update or remove calendar events created or managed through My Real Estate Business Coach;
- support your Ideal Week and scheduling preferences.
We do not use Google Calendar access to build a CRM, import contacts, read your email, or use unrelated calendar content for advertising. We do not sell calendar data and we do not use it to train AI models. Availability is read as busy/free time ranges only — we do not store titles, notes, attendees or locations of events we did not create, and no private calendar content is sent to Coach or Ask Coach beyond whether a time is free or busy.
Google authorization tokens are held encrypted on our servers, are never exposed to your browser, and are used only for the functions above. Calendar access can be disconnected at any time in your account settings; when you disconnect we delete the stored authorization and ask Google to revoke it. Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Only the minimum calendar data needed for these functions is processed or retained.
Email you receive
Service and account email — authentication, security, billing, receipts and critical service messages — is part of the product and is sent to you while you have an account. Marketing email — Shannon Builds product news, education and launches — is optional and opt-in only. You can withdraw consent at any time in your account settings or via the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, and we will respect it.
How long we keep it
We keep your account and business data for as long as your account exists. Cancelling a subscription does not delete your account or data. If you ask us to close your account, we delete or anonymise your data, apart from records we must retain for legal, accounting or transaction-record purposes.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or port your data, to object to processing, and to withdraw consent. Email shannon@fosterbolinegroup.com to make a request; we aim to respond within one month. If you are in the UK or EEA you may also complain to your supervisory authority.
International transfers
Our service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live, including the United States. Where applicable law requires safeguards for international data transfers, we or our providers use legally recognized transfer mechanisms.
Security
We use technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect your information, including access controls and security measures provided by our hosting and database providers. No system is completely secure, so please use a strong, unique password.
Cookies and measurement
We use essential cookies and local storage to keep you signed in, and limited first-party product analytics to understand which features are used. To understand which campaigns bring people to the product, we also keep a random visitor identifier and, when you arrive from a link that contains them, the campaign tags on that link (such as utm_source, utm_campaign or a Meta click ID) plus the referring website's domain. This first-party measurement never includes your goals, deals, commissions, sources, notes, calendar or Coach conversations. You can clear or block cookies in your browser, though the app will not stay signed in without the essential ones.
Optional advertising measurement (Meta)
If you choose "Allow" on our advertising-measurement notice, we load Meta's measurement tag, which may set Meta advertising cookies, and we tell Meta when key steps happen — such as a page view, completing a free plan, creating an account, starting checkout or starting a subscription (with the subscription price). For matching, we may share a hashed (scrambled) copy of your email address, a hashed account identifier and Meta's click and browser identifiers. We never share your income goal, deal or pipeline values, commissions, business sources, notes, calendar details or Coach conversations with Meta or any advertising platform. Nothing is loaded or sent to Meta unless you allow it. This is separate from email marketing consent. You can change your choice at any time using "Advertising measurement settings" at the bottom of any public page.
